iFAST RESPONDER is a series of modules combining self defence tactics and lifesaving trauma first aid. Aimed at everyone from unsuspecting civilian first responders to seasoned security professionals.

* A - Assess the Scene Safety and Check for Wounded
* S - Stop Catastrophic Bleeding and Secure an Airway
* T - Treat on Scene vs Transport to Safety

Bringing together the new iFAST TRAUMA and iFAST DEFENCE concepts to deliver must have skills for today’s violent world.

iFAST TRAUMA is a one day course designed to teach participants the basics of life saving first aid skills. Topics covered will include dealing with catastophic bleeds (gunshot wounds, stab wounds and blast injuries), maintaining a patient’s airway right through to the providing handover reports on the arrival of paramedics and/or transport to provision of definitive care.

iFAST DEFENCE is a modular system created to provide training in self defence techniques. The aim is to provide the vital basic skills needed in a compact time frame. The course is designed to suit all (via specific modules), from general public to security operatives (specifically the specialist skills required for close protection operatives), right through to tactics for military and law enforcement application.

**Christopher Morris** (GroundTruth Medical)

Chris is an active UK registered paramedic with a unique skill set.

Having operated at the forefront of the close protection industry for high profile clients and diplomatic protection teams alike, covering most conflict areas of the world since 2002.

He now designs and delivers specialist medical training for Ground Truth Medical in conjunction with trusted security partners globally.

**Joel Bennett**

Joel Bennett is a senior instructor within an international Krav Maga organisation and an active close protection operative. Joel currently runs numerous martial arts club and provides high level security for private clients across London and internationally.

He has worked with civilians, police officers, the military and members of the security industry in various capacities as both a trainer and in an operational capacity. Joel’s knowledge in both the Traditional Ju-Jitsu and Krav Maga brings a hybrid style of combatives that is both highly effective, relevant and simple to learn.
