Im from Ireland, and we have a number of course providers here, that will give a Level 3 qualification. Having looked into them, I found that each provider had a particular focus within Close Protection.
I researched UK Courses, and decided to do the course at ARG.
Reasons:I have a Military and Police background, and found that ARG had an appropriate mix of experienced Instructors from both these areas. The Instructors had long histories of active work in UK and abroad with high profile clients, and thus had a wealth of experience to offer.
I considered the facilities at ARG good when I did the course in 2012, but the facilities have been redeveloped to an even higher standard.
The whole course was "fastball", putting necessary performance expectations on the participants.
The exercises were practical and realistic, and tested the skills of the course participants.
Giving a score of 5 in each category might seem unrealistic, but I have to say it is all well deserved.
ARG has much more to offer than I can outline here. Have a look at their website and make your own mind up!
