Close Protection Course + FPOS-I by G4S (Phoenix)

In August 2010 I decide that it was time to leave the Army and try a build a career out of something else, I decided I wanted to go and work overseas as a Close Protection Officer.

Using my Learning credits from the Army I booked myself a place on the G4S phoenix course.

The course length was 3 weeks and covered a very in depth syllabus. I found the instructors that led the course had a large knowledge of the role and the wider security industry. (I am unsure if the same instructors are still there)

The course contained theory work and practical training out in the local towns, it did not however contain much on hostile environment work.

I would recommend this course to people who are looking to try and get into the industry as it is run by one of the larger players and a huge selling point was that if you completed and passed the course you got an interview at the end of it.
