I was getting out of the army and wanted to get in to the security sector namely Close Protection. I was recommended the Sterling Close Protection course as it consisted of the level three close protection qualification, first aid at work and paediatric first aid as well as many modules to do with the UK scene and working within London.
The Sterling Close Protection course taught me all the relevant syllabus to achieve the qualification allowing me to apply for my SIA licence. In addition their course taught me the nature of UK based CP work opposed to just hostile environment which every man and his dog seems to want to do. Showing me the large range and availability of work out there.
The instructors of Sterling Close Protection were both knowledgeable and helpful of the industry with excellent instructional techniques aimed at all levels of understanding ensuring no one on the course lagged behind the curve. The accommodation was excellent as was the training venue. In addition to the instructors they brought in guest speakers who are also currently working in the industry to answer questions and aid understanding of what to expect. I felt as if Sterling actually cared about my passing the course opposed to me just turning up and paying my fee’s. They have maintained contact even after the course and have helped me to gain work.
