This is a week long course conducted in Worcester and the surrounding area. The course starts with a an overview of surveillance operations in the UK, which is where the company earn their bread and butter. The Data Protection Act, Human Rights and RIPA are covered by the companies LegAd to explain the operational parameters, before launching into the main part of the course. This is the part with specific relevance to the protection industry as the student will conduct a number of static, foot and mobile surveillance exercises. These are done at the right level by a very competent training team, all with live experience of conducting surveillance operations. What the student gains from these exercises is an understanding of what a surveillance operator has to achieve to gain a Pattern of Life Study on a subject. On completion of the course, the student is armed with the knowledge of what to look for in hostile surveillance. Where their start points are likely to be, and how anti surveillance can be used to good effect. All in all a very good course with a positive and useful skill set to take into a hostile environment.
