I felt that this was merely a formality to obtain the correct qualifications in order to apply for my SIA Licence, I was right.
The course itself had 5 candidates attending two of of which were completing a full course of 2 weeks, with myself and a 2 former police officers there to carry out the 1 week.
I felt the course was on the whole was sound in its delivery however, I did have concerns regarding the 2 candidates who were required to carry out the full course with only themselves and 2
The instructors were approachable and would explain fully (if not a little bit wrongly) the procedures to those who had queries.
With regards to resources I did not fully benefit from what they had on offer although the location of the training was sufficient for what was required.
My main gripe would be down to a lack of prior research by myself when it came down to the price, it was after paying £650, I was informed I could have completed the APL for as little as £250. Although I was assured at the time of booking that this was the standard rate.
I have learnt from this error, with research, research, research now as my mantra when it comes to courses.
