I am currently working as a Security Operations Manager for Page Group Ltd working for the European Union on a diplomatic contract in Kabul, Afghanistan. My main responsibilities include advising clients on all safety and security matters within a corporate setting, managing the Security Control Centre (SCC) which involves monitoring all security systems, and ensuring all security and emergency response plans are applied and updated where necessary. Prior to this, I worked for Control Risks for 3 years as an Security Team Leader, Static Guard Operations Manager and then Project Security Training Manager on a commercial contract in Southern Iraq. This was a large Oil & Gas project with an annual value of $50m, manning 380 posts; I worked at the forefront of managing all the contractual security teams and static guard security training requirements. Prior to this I served in the British Armed Forces achieving rank of Senior Non Commissioned Officer gaining a vast amount of managerial and operational experience in various theatres.
